We had a fantastic time with friends! The lodge is perfect for groups, and we loved exploring the mirrored maze and enjoying the nearby Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. The owners were incredibly friendly, ensuring a comfy stay with great breakfast options. We even took advantage of the flat-screen TV for some downtime.
The only downside was the lack of sound insulation between rooms, which made it a bit noisy at times. If you're a light sleeper, you'll want to consider that.

Recommend it for a chill trip
The place has a fantastic roll top bath that is huge and we were both able to soak comfortably after a long day visiting the distillery and I couldn't get enough of the quality of the breakfast especially those sausages which I swear must come from some local butcher because they were so good
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but I’d say well worth it for the experience

The location was ideal, being close to attractions like the Warner distillery. The room was quite comfortable, though the mattress could use improvement, and some noise from the floorboards was bothersome. Breakfast had a good selection but could be fresher, with better options like made-to-order eggs.

The suite we booked felt spacious yet snug, perfect for us. Quality bed linen made a significant difference, and breakfast choices were excellent. The staff were very attentive.
The only concern was proximity to the road.

I loved the cozy atmosphere at Church Farm Lodge. Our suite felt spacious and had a charming rustic vibe with lovely wooden beams. The complementary wine cooler was a nice touch. Breakfast impressed me with a variety of options, especially the cooked-to-order eggs. The staff, particularly Harry, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. the bed was too firm for my liking, and the pillows felt hard. Water pressure in the shower could use improvement, as it felt weak at times. I'd also suggest some insect screens for the windows to enjoy fresh air without the bugs. Despite these issues, the experience overall was delightful, and the beautiful country setting made up for it. We will absolutely return.

The family staff were incredibly welcoming, and I loved enjoying freshly cooked poached eggs for breakfast, kicking off my day before heading to the beautiful nearby Rothwell Bone Crypt, which is only about 3.5 km away, perfect for a lovely stroll on the weekend. the added bonus was enjoying those walks with park views around the area that made the experience even more delightful.

The charming countryside vibe and scenic walks nearby set a lovely backdrop for a relaxing stay. I particularly enjoyed the wine cooler in the suite, adding a nice personal touch to the experience.
Unfortunately, the bed in our double room was quite old and extremely uncomfortable, leaving me and my partner tossing and turning most of the night. Breakfast fell short, served cold with limited variety. we grappled with runny scrambled eggs and overly crunchy fried options. The noise from morning farm deliveries outside our window also disrupted our sleep. it felt more like a quaint establishment without the expected quality and attention to detail.

I had the loveliest stay in a sweet little double room. So quiet and comfy, with charming rustic decor and easy-peasy access. Perfect for a romantic night in or a cheeky gin adventure nearby!
The shower pressure could barely wash away the tiniest of regrets. Talk about a wet blanket!

Charming stay on the farm
Had a lovely time relaxing here. The location was super peaceful, and waking up to the sound of birds and the smell of bacon was just awesome! The only annoying part was that the room got a bit chilly, especially coming in February. But loved the picnic tables for a cozy outdoor vibe.
